If the author is Hoffman, we believe the audience to be people who’s ideas he is reinforcing as it pertains to racial purity.
The issue itself is racial interbreeding and we believe the gap to be that interbreeding isn’t as prominent as believed, however, when it does occur the babies are flawed.
Hoffman’s Thesis – Race amalgamation leads to degradation and destruction of civilization
Evidence – He uses data that fits his needs and that would seemingly be correct if how they were measured were unbiased. He uses anecdotes, statistics and other seemingly credible sources to fit his narrative.
Warrant – Hoffman fits into many categories: white supremacist, naturalist, purist and one who overall believes in the separation of races. His ethics are seen to be clear because he is not American and in turn should be trusted.
Counterargument – While other races can achieve individually, these events are outliers. This is also the argument that people should stay within their own race out of fear of “malfunction”.
